Library creates AMAZING social media campaign for a book burning party

A library in Troy, Michigan was at the mercy of a well-funded Tea Party campaign to oppose a .7% tax increase. So they created a Facebook page, Twitter account, Foursquare location, and other social media pages for a Book Burning Party. People took notice. Voter turnout was 342% greater than expected. The library won.

Behold the power of social media, folks.
